The next meeting of Salon South West will be held at 6pm, on Wednesday the 1st of December at The Minerva pub on Looe Street. We will be discussing ‘Desert Islands’ by Gilles Deleuze. We will be discussing the text both in relation to The Sutton Youth Initiative at The Gallery at Plymouth College of Art, and Perimeter at Project Space 11; and in a wider sense. The exhibitions are intended as a multi-site project, both responding to the same mythologised event involving Drake’s Island, Plymouth. Both shows close on the 27th of November.
